No longer a visitor!
Not born but raised in California! This is me in my new room and new house.

First EVER selfie.
MANY more to come…

I went to a Shanghainese restaurant with my family.
Beginning to connect with my Asian American identity. Just kidding! I actually went back to Beijing to attend first grade at an international school.

At a very young age, I activated my creative bone!

First of many debate tournaments.
a competitive debater is born.
Royale High empire
Spent quarantine building my own Royale High Empire on Twitter (now X) with over 10k followers and learning about the ins and outs of the internet. Also started developing a music taste!

When I was a little kid, my 3 big WANTS were to have an iPhone, a cat, and a boyfriend. This completes ⅔.

Exploring entrepreneurship and Georgetown in the summer where I designed and pitched an app meant to help you manage your schedule during the day time so you have more time at night to sleep!
This was my first major exposure to sleep and how it impacts so many aspects of life.

Sophomore “Slump” except I think I’ve figured out how to romanticize studying…

Becoming FLINT (The Flintridge Leadership Initiative) Co-Chair in Junior Year and recruiting students so the FLINT legacy doesn’t die out!
Flint is a leadership initiative at school where we invited guest speakers to come speak with students about how to apply for internships, hosted events like an art festival where student ambassadors can teach their disciplines, and created so many other ways where students on campus can learn and apply leadership skills.

First time visiting America!
I remember asking my mom if 美国 (America) was named that because it was more beautiful than all the other countries (美 means beautiful, 国 means country).

Fifth birthday at my Kindergarten in the United States!

Getting ready for my first piano recital!

First day of second grade and Californian elementary school with my grandparents!

First ballroom dance recital!
Can you spot me?

First day of quarantine…the day before my birthday…

Graduated Middle School! End of a decade, start of an age.

Finding my place in Freshman year!

I went down a rabbit hole of sleep and its implications (specifically how sleep affects people of different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds)!
I ended up starting my non profit Sweet Dreams 4 All as a way to showcase my findings and help educate others on the topic of sleep.

I had the time of my life exploring New York with my new friends while studying and researching psychology at Barnard.
(Probably was THE most memorable summer ever.)
